...watching "of mice and men" from john steinbeck's novel of the 1930's
...seems we all come across all different types of men and mice on this ride of "life" we are on...are there more men in this world?...or mice?...i wonder what kind of friends each personality type chooses to be with...do men usually choose mice to hang around with?...or do they choose "like" people?...likewise, do good-looking people choose friends who are also good-looking?...or do they choose people that will make them appear better looking, by having ugly friends?
...i wonder what can you tell about a person by who their friends are?...if all my friends are ugly, what does that say about me?...what if my friends were mice?
...i guess i don't have to worry since i don't have any friends...

I loved the movie. The book was better, but the movie was good. I'm not a person who cares what people think of my friends or whatnot. What is "ugly" to one person may be beautiful to another. If people are judging me by the "looks" of my friends, then I don't need those judgmental people in my lfe. Hope you are having a great Sunday!
Interesting. I think my friends reflect a lot of the characteristics I wish to see more in myself: honesty, authenticity, and genuine compassion.
I've always believed the "birds of a feather flock together" bit. I don't think that counts for outward appearances though, just what is on the inside
Who ever cared what a friend looks like? Like not wanting your yummy chocolate bar cuz the packaging changed and you don't happen to like the new look?

it's good to have friends of all kinds. you just dont know when you'll need them in some area in your life. 1st ex. if you want a friend to kick another's friend butt you get your gangbanger friend. 2nd ex. if you need help with hw, you get your nerdy friend. 3rd ex. if you want to have fun and party.. you get your party friends. friends are cool!

some people, pets, art, music, houses are so ugly they are beautiful each in their own unique ways. uniqueness makes a person beautiful.
